Diagnostic Support (FAQ)
Welcome to the TabletopForge Diagnostic Support center. Below are the standard operational procedures and frequently asked questions categorized by module streams.
1. Ordering & Logistics
Global Dispatch Timeframes
- Standard physical resin orders are processed and queued for dispatch within 3–5 business days.
- High-complexity kits requiring extra UV curing time or ultrasonic washing cycles may require additional preparation.
- Transit Projections:
- Domestic (Sector 1): 2–4 Days
- International (Outer Rim): 10–15 Days
- High-Priority Courier: 48-Hour Rapid Deploy
Damaged Components Protocol
In the event of a structural component failure during transit:
- Capture detailed photos of the damaged sprue or broken component.
- Submit a visual report to Command via the support portal within 48 hours of package delivery.
- We provide free replacement hot-swaps for any parts demonstrating transport damage or manufacturing defects.
2. Digital STL Access
Transmission Retrieval & Downloads
- Digital STL files are immediately authorized and available in your Customer Archive upon payment confirmation.
- Download links are persistent; however, we highly recommend storing backups on secure, local physical drives.
- All STL files are packaged in high-fidelity 4K resolution formats, optimized for home MSLA/SLA printers.
Commercial Licensing Terms
- Personal License: Standard STL downloads are strictly licensed for Personal, Non-Commercial use. You may print models for personal collections or gameplay but cannot sell files or physical prints.
- Merchant License: To sell physical prints of our digital assets, you must acquire an active "Merchant Command" tier subscription from the Archive portal. Selling or redistributing the digital files themselves remains strictly prohibited.
3. Physical Resin Specs
Hardness & Tensile Strength
Our proprietary resin blend is formulated to achieve a Shore 80D–82D hardness rating. It balances rigid detail retention with micro-flex properties, specifically engineered to prevent breakage on thin, delicate parts (such as swords, antennae, or spears) during handling.
UV Reactivity & Solar Exposure
- Physical models are shipped cured to 98% chemical stability.
- Avoid leaving raw, unprimed resin models in direct sunlight for extended periods.
- Excessive solar UV exposure can trigger over-curing, which degrades detail and makes components brittle over long-term cycles.
4. Assembly & Care
Recommended Adhesives
- :::warning Glue Warning DO NOT use plastic cement (liquid polystyrene cement). Plastic cement works by melting polystyrene plastic to fuse it, which does not react with cured polyurethane resin. :::
- Always use Cyanoacrylate (Super Glue) for standard infantry and small connections.
- For large, heavy components or multi-part vehicle kits, we recommend high-strength two-part epoxy or pinning joints with brass rod.
Surface Pre-Processing
Before applying primer or paint to your resin models, you must prepare the surfaces:
- Wash all physical resin components in warm, soapy water using a soft brush.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to air-dry completely.
- This process neutralizes any remaining mold-release agents or curing residues, ensuring paint primer adheres perfectly to the model.
